Solar panel Longi Solar LR5-72HTH-585M

Longi Solar has launched a completely new series of PV modules and introduced “hybrid passive reverse contact” cell technology. The new Hi-MO series will initially be available in four different formats, mainly aimed at rooftop solar power plants.

The LR5-72HTH-585M monocrystalline solar panel is used in grid-tied, hybrid or stand-alone solar power systems. It has a capacity of 585W, which is a very high figure for 2024. The efficiency of the solar panel is very high and amounts to 22.6% when paired with an inverter, allowing it to be effectively used to generate profit at a “green tariff” or autonomous power supply.

The best materials and components on the photovoltaic market were used to create the model. 144 high-quality silicon cells are mounted in a 35 mm thick composite alloy frame in 24 rows. Converting the sun's energy into a constant electric current with a maximum voltage of 44.21V and a current of 13.24A, they have a low heating level, thus increasing the performance of each cell. The panel surface is reliably protected by 3.2 mm tempered glass.

The solar panel has been tested with 25 mm hail at wind speeds of 23 m/s. The design is able to withstand snow loads of up to 5200Pa and wind loads of up to 2400Pa. It is resistant to salt moisture, ammonia and dust, which is confirmed by independent testing.

The IP68 protection class of the device means that it is completely protected from dust and can withstand short-term immersion in water to a depth of 1 meter. Accidental contact of electrical elements with a person is excluded.

The model is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 management systems. Compliance with industry standards IE61215, IE61730 ensures high quality and safety of the equipment. Independent confirmation of conformity was carried out by TUV Rheinland.

The device has standard dimensions of 2278x1134x35 mm and a light weight of 27.5 kg.

The manufacturer provides a 12-year warranty for the PV module parts and components. The warranty period for the preservation of linear output indicators is 25 years, while at the end of this period the panel power level is not less than 89.1%. That is, the degradation of the panel over 25 years of operation is only 11.1%.
